People living in Penticton are very lucky. I was very surprised with Isshin's authenticity as a Japanese restaurant. Owners and staff are directly from Japan and are dedicated to pursue the REAL flavour. Quality, freshness and style is excellent. Also, portion is very generous compared to their pricing. You can leave the restaurant with a very nice extra snack for later... If anybody's palate sets Isshin as a standard of Japanese cuisine, many other so-to-speak Japanese/Sushi restaurants have to be threatened. (Wine Sommelier & foodie from Japan)
I agree that this sushi is very good. I would like to mention that thier ad says "free delivery" This is very misleading!! I am a shut in and have tried to order delivery many times but it is only provided on the RARE occassions that they "feel like it" Poor customer service means I'll not go back again.
Bad Customer Service and no other specialties
I'll never go back to Isshin
I find it hard to believe that people have had a bad experiance at Isshin in Penticton. Having found it 3 years ago I have found the food to be fresh, and very fairly priced. I used to travel to Vancouver for my Sushi fix but have now found that except for some of the very $$$ high end chices in Van. Isshin shines above all. I have taken quite a few foodies that have visited this town over the last years and I'm not speaking only for myself. Keep up the good work.
awesome food and good price
They have just upgraded their food aswell, Grade A tuna atleast. Love it
Wonderful little find in Penticton. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Delightful owners.
my fave restaurant. period. ) whoever left a bad comment is obviously a very hard to please individual.
I have gone to Isshin few several years and keep coming back. The prices are very reasonable with excellent food. Also the portion size is generous. It is also a place that I can take my whole family and everyone can find something they would like to order. Definitely a 5 for me.
